GiGi is a 1.5-year-old Presa Canario with a big presence and an even bigger heart for her people. She is incredibly loyal, highly intelligent, and thrives when she has a strong bond with her person. GiGi loves the simple joys in life—car rides, long walks, pup cups, and yes... Walmart homestyle meatballs (her absolute favorite treat). She enjoys getting out and about, whether it’s exploring stores like Lowe’s or TJ Maxx or just spending time outdoors. Once she understands the boundaries of her home, she does very well and has reliable recall. She is a true “Velcro dog” who prefers to be close to her person and will happily be your shadow throughout the day. GiGi is affectionate, playful, and has her fair share of zoomies, so she would do best in a home without small children simply due to her size and energy. GiGi does best in a calm, structured environment. She can become nervous with excessive movement or chaotic situations (for example, she is uncomfortable in the dark), so she will need a home that can provide consistency and reassurance. This was a high-stress situation that likely contributed to her reaction. At this time, GiGi has not yet undergone a professional behavioral evaluation. As part of our commitment to responsible placement, she will be evaluated by a qualified professional prior to adoption, and we will update her profile with any recommendations or requirements following that assessment. ⸻ Medical & Adoption Requirements GiGi will need to be spayed prior to her formal adoption being finalized.
