Kona is our youngest patient and is still healing. This sweet 5-month-old lab mix puppy was also hit by a car (because apparently the universe was feeling rude that day). She had: • A compound fracture in her rear left leg (already repaired) • A break at the femoral ball joint in the rear right leg She will need one more surgery (FHO) once she heals up a bit more. Despite all that... she is still a happy, sweet, wiggly puppy who likes basically everyone and everything. Because puppies are basically rubber and optimism.
