About Indie
Indie is a young Labrador Retriever mix, just 9 months old, and is going through a lot for her age. She is still healing from a compound fracture in her rear left leg, already repaired, and a femoral ball joint break on her rear right leg, which will need an FHO surgery in about six weeks. Even with all of this on her plate, Indie greets every day with a wiggly tail and a happy face. She gets along with dogs and children, embodying that classic puppy optimism—always ready to make new friends despite her current physical limits. What stands out most about Indie is her resilience and upbeat nature. The odds haven’t been kind, but she moves ahead, always sweet, gentle, and eager for attention. If you’re looking for a pup who deserves every shot at happiness and has plenty of love to give back, Indie could be the one. Her recovery needs a patient adopter who can manage some special care for the next couple of months as she gets her last surgery and finishes healing. Indie is in Stahlstown, PA.
