About Jasmine

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Jasmine is a resilient cane corso who came to the rescue after enduring the hardships of life as a breeding mother in an Amish puppy mill. When her breeding days were over, she was surrendered rather than facing a grim fate, and is now looking for a loving home to spend her golden years. Despite her challenging past, Jasmine—affectionately called Jazzy—is a happy, affectionate girl whose nub tail hardly ever stops wiggling. At seven years old, Jasmine is completely vetted, spayed, and housebroken. She craves attention and, despite her extra-large stature, believes she should be a lap dog. She adores plush toys, especially long ones like caterpillars and snakes, and delights in walks, yard playtime, and running around with the zoomies. Jasmine has already learned basic commands like sit and place, and she responds eagerly to treats, making her very trainable for someone with more time and patience. Due to her history and temperament, Jasmine will need an adult-only home with someone experienced with cane corsos or similar breeds. She can be stubborn and still displays some resource guarding, particularly around other dogs, so it’s best if she is the only pet. In return, you’ll get a loving, loyal companion who is ready to finally enjoy the life she deserves. Jasmine was born on June 1st, making her a clever and adaptable Gemini—no wonder she's so quick to learn new things when treats are involved! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
