MEET SHEP - Best we can guess is he is white shepherd and possibly labrador. Shep came to us young with a tiny dog that appeared to have been dumped together. Shep was very protective of the little guy and very timid and starving. He has been here long enough to have gained a good amount of weight, He was 46 lbs on arrival, He was 77 lbs at his last Vet visit. (He really loves doggy biscuits) Shep has gained confidence and become very affectionate. He is still a bit shy meeting new people, so when meeting Shep. Please keep in mind he may or may not run right up to you. He’s been good around other dogs doing one on one play. He puts up with a lot of ducks and geese hanging out right by his play yard. He never barks at them. He gets walked on a leash due to free range birds, he hasn’t tried to chase them. He’s a big beautiful boy that will be a fantastic companion for his people. He’s loyal which was seen when he was protecting the little dog prior to rescue. *(We can’t be positive about breed without a dna test, we are going by looks and personality) Shep is now Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
