About Jill
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Jill came to the shelter alongside her "brother" after being found as a stray. Initially shy and reserved, she is gradually opening up and feeling more comfortable in her new surroundings. You will find she is gentle and sweet, making her a wonderful companion for someone ready to help her settle into a loving home. Jill is at that perfect age where she can start learning all about house manners and bond closely with her family. She is a large mixed breed, likely a blend of Shepherd and Retriever, with a beautiful short coat in gray, blue, silver, and cream tones. If you reside in or near Nevada County, you may be eligible for the shelter's foster-to-adopt program for dogs awaiting their spay or neuter. While fostering, you will care for Jill until her spay surgery is complete, after which the adoption becomes official. Sammie’s Friends ensures that every adopted dog is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and kept up-to-date with flea, tick, and heartworm prevention before going home. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
