Sweet Sam has a calm demeanor and a gentle disposition. He is smart and will make a loyal companion. Sam plays well with other dogs in the play yard. Sadly, Sam is blind in one eye. The eye needs to be removed as it seems to be causing Sam some serious pain. Sam will have surgery soon and will need a foster home to recuperate in. Please email erica@sammiesfriends.org will questions about Sam. Important Information: Dogs that are not yet spayed or neutered are available for "Foster-to-Adopt." Please note: We only offer fostering to individuals in and around Nevada County. Our foster-to-adopt program is for dogs awaiting their spay or neuter. During this period, you’ll foster until their spay/neuter surgery is complete, after which the adoption becomes official. Adoption fee is $125.00. Sammie’s Friends dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and are up to date on their flea, tick and heartworm prevention prior to adoption.
