Age: 10 years Size: 56 lbs Good with everyone. Needs gradual intro to dogs and cats. Fleece Blanket was found wandering the streets alone and brought to an overcrowded municipal shelter in Georgia. She waited by the kennel door each day—as if hoping someone she knew would come for her. But no one ever did. Initially anxious and wary, Fleece has mellowed out after 2 months in foster care. She is a vibrant senior who still has a lot of pep in her step. She loves humans, big and small, and greets everyone with a happy smile and tail wags. At home, she enjoys affection but does not demand attention. She’s still working on being calm around other dogs on leash and would do best as the only pet in the home. Fleece Blanket is fostered in NYC and is available for local or out-of-state adoption as long as the adopter can travel to meet her.
