About Rocky
Meet Rocky! Rocky is a 2 year old, 7.5 pound male chihuahua mix ready for his forever home. Can you be the perfect match for Rocky? Rocky came from a bad hoarding situation in South Carolina where a large number of dogs were kept in one room with little human contact. He arrived to his foster home in late January terrified of everyone and everything. He had no idea what the outdoors was; grass and dirt were foreign and terrifying to him. Rocky is now a different boy. He loves to run outside with his housemates to potty and play. He sleeps in bed with his humans and snuggles close all night. He will now let his foster mom pick him up and he snuggles beside her on the sofa. Rocky is sweet and not aggressive. He will occasionally growl but has never snapped or tried to bite his humans or other dogs. He spends most of his time snuggled in his bed under a blanket. Rocky is food and treat motivated so will quickly become your best friend if treats are offered! He is not at all destructive and is not an escape artist. His foster does keep a GPS tracker on him just in case he would get out. Rocky is potty trained and rarely has accidents. He will also use puppy pads. Please consider this handsome prince as your new best friend! Rocky is neutered and has had a dental. He is fully vetted and up to date on his vaccinations. He is microchipped. Rocky’s adoption donation is $300. If you are interested in the above dog, please do not email us and tell us that you are interested, but submit an adoption application. The link for the application is below. To submit an application go here: http://www.chihuahua-rescue.com/adoption-application/ An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled. Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative. Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
