About Juliet
A few weeks ago, Juliet was too scared to come out of her crate. Now she's doing zoomies in the yard! Watching this tiny dog gain confidence has been one of the sweetest things. When Juliet first arrived at the rescue, she mostly stayed curled up in her crate, quietly watching the world around her and trying to figure out if it was safe. Little by little, her personality has started to shine. Now she greets us with tail wags and sweet little kisses. She proudly collects toys and carries them back to her crate like treasures. And recently she discovered how fun it is to play with our dogs - followed by joyful zoomies around the yard. Juliet is about 1 year old and 7-8 pounds, a little Chihuahua mix with a very gentle, sensitive heart. She's spayed, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, microchipped, crate trained, and potty trained. She's the kind of dog who just needs a little patience at first while she settles in and builds confidence. Once she feels safe, you start to see the playful, affectionate little dog she's becoming. Juliet would do best in a home that: Is patient and lets her warm up at her own pace Has a friendly dog companion to help show her the ropes Is a calm environment without small children We can already imagine Juliet curled up next to her person after a good play session in the yard.
