Introducing Timothy the Tripod — proof that resilience can be ridiculously adorable. Timothy may have lost a leg after an unfortunate run-in with a car, but he hasn’t let that dim his friendly, happy spirit. Timothy is affectionate, calm, sociable, and full of love. He adores his people and will happily follow you around, and he's still agile enough to hop up for cuddles on the couch or snuggles in bed. While he hasn’t had much formal training yet, he‘s a quick learner who’s food-motivated and eager to please. He’s already potty-trained and communicates when he needs to go out by standing patiently at the door. He also knows how to walk on leash and travels well in the car! This gentle boy gets along with everyone — adults, kids, and dogs of all sizes. Timothy enjoys short outdoor adventures but is just as content to relax at home. Timothy also has a playful side! He loves his dog bed (even if he occasionally “redecorates” it by pulling out the stuffing) and would appreciate plenty of toys to keep him entertained and out of mischief. And if you ever need a good laugh, just catch him snoozing on his back — it’s one of his signature moves. Timothy is looking for a home filled with love, soft places to nap, and a human who doesn’t mind a steady supply of kisses. In return, he promises devoted companionship, a joyful heart, and a daily reminder that life is a gift to be cherished, no matter the hardships that have come before. After all, who could resist those three furry paws and those soulful puppy-dog eyes asking “will you be mine”?
