About Trinket
Click apply to start the adoption process. If you're someone who appreciates resilience, patience, and the journey of growth, Trinket is a small dog with a big story to tell. She's not the typical lap dog, preferring her own space and showing affection in quiet, unique ways. Trinket finds comfort in following her foster around, quietly observing and occasionally sharing a peaceful nap. Though she isn't ready for snuggles, she communicates her need for love through her gentle presence and soft companionship. Trinket gets along remarkably well with the other animals in her foster home—including dogs, cats, birds, and even a fish tank—which speaks to her ability to adapt and coexist peacefully. She came from uncertain beginnings, having been found near an abandoned property with other small dogs, and is now bravely facing the world as she overcomes her fears one step at a time. Every small milestone is a testament to her courage. An ideal home for Trinket is a patient, quiet household with a dog who can help her feel safe and bring out her trust in people. If you believe in giving second chances and helping a dog blossom at her own pace, you could be the one to make all the difference for Trinket. She is currently available by appointment only at SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
