He gets along with other dogs, enjoys the company of respectful children, and is generally looking for a quiet, cuddly home for his golden years.

About Bandit

Bandit is a senior Chihuahua who has settled into the art of taking it easy. At 15 or 16 years old, he lives for soft blankets, comfy dog beds, and a good lap to sleep on. Bandit came out of a rough situation, so he’s got some wear and tear—his hips are stiff and painful, his teeth need work (scheduled to be addressed), and he’s still learning the ropes when it comes to house training. Cold weather makes it tough, but he’s picking up pee pads and uses a belly band to help. He prefers being with his people and doesn’t take well to crates. Bandit gets along with other dogs and doesn’t mind living with respectful kids. He’ll chase cats if given the chance, but his hips slow him down—and he takes correction well. Bandit mostly naps and cuddles but will need a person who doesn’t mind sitting with him while he eats or just wants to spoil him in his golden years. A retired owner or someone at home a lot would be ideal. No requirement for a fenced yard—a leash or quick potty trip suffices. Bandit’s not looking for adventure; he wants comfort, company, and a bit of extra care. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
