Meet Forza, a spirited and energetic young pup full of personality! This little guy is a playful bundle of energy who loves exploring, tugging on toys, and showing off his food-motivated skills-he already knows sit! Forza thrives on interaction and attention, though he can be quite nippy as he navigates the world and is still learning his manners. He's working through some skin sensitivities, which can make him extra mouthy at times, but with the right guidance and care, he has the potential to grow into a confident, well-mannered companion. Forza is best suited for experienced adopters who understand puppy behavior and can provide a patient, structured environment. Due to his nippiness, he would do best in a home without children. While he's still figuring out how to interact appropriately, Forza is full of heart, curiosity, and the promise of a lifelong bond with someone ready to help him thrive. Per staff 3/18/26 (regarding dog meet):Loose body, mid level tail wags, ears rotating between forward and back. When Draco would approach quickly Forza would retreat. He did not go up and approach Draco. Per staff 3/18/26: Forza has been reported to be very nippy, frequently grabbing at hands and clothing with his mouth. He is also experiencing ongoing skin issues, which may be contributing to increased discomfort and sensitivity. Dogs dealing with itchiness can have a lower tolerance for handling, which can present as increased mouthiness or nipping behavior. At this time, we are considering starting with an antihistamine and a probiotic to help address potential underlying causes and improve overall comfort. We will continue to monitor for any changes in behavior as these supports are introduced. Recommend urgent promotion Per staff 3/18/26: Kennel Presentation: At the front of the kennel with Soft eyes, ears forward and mid tail wagging. Grabby with treats through the kennel door. Leash Skills: A little difficult to leash as he was trying to get out of the kennel. Since he's a puppy had to carry to the office. He was squirming in my arms as I carried him. Sociability: All over the place when we got into the office. Jumping up on me, nipping at my hands. I started to toss treats on the ground to keep all four on the floor. He's highly food motivated and does sit. When I went to pet his him and he head whip nipping at my hands. He then would jump up nipping at my ppe, hands and treat pouch. Play: Tried to play with a toy, he played tug for a few moments then dropped the toy. Only would interact with the toy if I was showing it to him. Dog Interaction: n/a Return to Kennel: Tossed treats on the round and picked him up to carry back to kennel. He was squirming in my arms. I was able to remove the leash before going in the kennel. Color Level: Blue Per staff 3/15/26: VERY MOUTHY will latch onto your hand. Wouldn't allow restraint but was distracted with food for microchip.
