Smudge is extremely cuddly and affectionate. She's very petite and likes to perch on the shoulders. She has a tiny "mew" which she uses to "talk" to you. She loves toys, treats, naps, and soft blankets but she loves people the most. It may take a few days but soon enough her new owner will have their own feline "shadow." Smudge is FeLV positive, but she is energetic and healthy. Because FeLV is a virus that weakens a cat's immune system, FeLV+ cats may have shorter life-spans, but cats like Smudge who are diagnosed can still live a long life. This virus cannot be transmitted to people, dogs or other non-feline animals, but can be transmitted to other cats via shared water and food dishes and grooming each other. Because of this, Smudge must live in a home with other FELV+ cats or as an only kitty.
