Silver is a gentle, quiet boy who came to Whiskers after being found outside as a stray. Kind people had been feeding him for at least a year before he was finally brought to safety. This sweet boy absolutely loves other cats and must have a feline friend in his home. In fact, Silver is almost always found cuddled up with another kitty. Silver can be a little shy with people at first and will need time to settle into a new home. A respectful way to introduce yourself is to let him sniff your hand. When he does, Silver is known for adorably propping his mouth open afterward, which volunteers find hilariously cute. Once he feels safe, Silver shows what a truly sweet boy he is. His ideal home will be quiet, without children, and with an experienced cat owner who understands that timid cats just need a little patience to blossom. Silver is also on a prescription diet to help manage his kidney failure. With a calm home, a kitty companion, and someone willing to give him time, Silver will make a very special companion. Approx.
