Zeus may have a name worthy of a Greek god, but this sweet boy is all heart. Originally found by a feral cat trapping group in March 2024, Zeus quickly proved he wasn’t feral at all—just a friendly, affectionate guy looking for love. A kind woman took him in and gave him a safe place to stay in her garage, and from there, Zeus made his way to Whiskers, where he’s now ready to find his forever home. This adorable guy is playful, curious, and absolutely loves attention. Whether he’s chasing a toy or soaking up pets, Zeus is happiest when he’s engaging with people. He’s a true charmer with a gentle soul and a face that’ll melt your heart. Zeus is FIV and FeLV positive. Because FeLV is a virus that weakens a cat's immune system, FeLV+ cats can have shorter life-spans, but cats like Zeus, who are diagnosed as an adult, can live to be 10-15 years old. This virus cannot be transmitted to people, dogs or other non-feline animals, but can be transmitted to other cats via shared water and food dishes and grooming each other. Because of this, Zeus should be an only cat or live in a home with other FELV+ cats. He could also live with cat-friendly dogs. Approx.
