About Bellagio
Bellagio has lived through a tough past but is set on finding a brighter future. After being rescued with a severe tail injury and a leg wound that both needed surgery, he's now sporting a distinctive bobtail. He loves to play and keeps his foster home lively with his bursts of energy—if he's not entertained, he isn’t shy about demanding attention. Bellagio enjoys his back being rubbed and, with his elevator butt, lets you know just how much he likes it. He's not a fan of being picked up yet and doesn’t tolerate hands over his head, but there’s hope that will change with time and trust. He's food motivated, determined to get the biggest helping during mealtime and doesn’t mind showing off his spunky side to other cats. Bellagio gets along best with adults who understand his need for boundaries and will offer lots of interactive play. He’s not suited for homes with children or dogs, but would do fine as a solo cat or with another feline who has a strong sense of self. Watching birds out the window and lounging on the bed are two of his favorite pastimes. Bellagio needs an adopter who can let him set the pace and is ready to be part of his journey toward trust. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! All cats at Whiskers are spayed or neutered, fully vetted, and tested for FELV/FIV before adoption. Whiskers, Inc. is NYS Registered Rescue #304.
