**ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS-AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AFTER 3/17 Taryn is a 7-month-old Shepherd mix weighing almost 62 pounds who came to the shelter when her previous home was no longer the right fit for a growing young dog. Still very much a puppy, Taryn is navigating a big change after having her whole world turned upside down. Taryn is understandably nervous and shy as she adjusts to the shelter environment, but she has already shown herself to be a sweet and intelligent young dog. With puppy patience, love, kindness, grace, and time to learn new household routines, we believe Taryn will continue to gain confidence and settle into family life. She has done well with the dogs she has met, has behaved appropriately during time spent in the cat room, and per staff has done well with everything she has encountered so far. Like any young dog, she will benefit from continued guidance and structure as she grows. Taryn is reported to be housebroken and has been spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, given a dewormer, is current on vaccinations, and receives monthly preventatives.
