About Maddi
Meet Maddi, formerly known as Helen, a shepherd with energy to spare. Maddi came back to rescue only because her lively playfulness was overwhelming for an older dog in her previous home. She’s social with other dogs and absolutely loves to play—her style is enthusiastic and she’ll do best with a dog friend who can keep up. Maddi is both crate trained and house trained, and she already knows several commands from her prior training. What Maddi really needs is an active home that values lots of daily activity and fun. She thrives on running, romping, and being included in anything adventurous. The happiest Maddi is one who gets to burn off her energy every day. Encouragingly, she also did very well with a cat in her former home, showing she can live with feline housemates. Currently, Maddi is staying at Animal Friends' Pampered Paws, enjoying regular play sessions. This is a dog ready for her next chapter with people who genuinely appreciate her spirited nature. If you want a companion who’ll enthusiastically join you in the action and bring a steady stream of smiles, Maddi is ready to meet you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
