At approximately 4 years old and 53 pounds, Aries is the perfect blend of playful enthusiasm and heartfelt affection, with a personality that fills every room she enters. Aries is, quite simply, one of the most affectionate dogs you’ll ever meet. She’s a certified kissing bandit who believes lap time is essential and that love should be given freely and often. She adores being close to her humans, happily following her foster mom from room to room, curling up under the covers at bedtime, and soaking up every bit of attention she can get. Her sweetness runs deep, and she forms strong bonds with the people she trusts. In her foster home, Aries has proven to be a wonderful house companion. She is house trained, crate trained, knows her sit command, and even uses a doggie door like a pro. She gets along great with her foster sibling, enjoys running the fence line with the neighbor’s dog, and can often be found napping beside her senior foster brother before breaking into a friendly game of tug. Aries has a good amount of energy and loves her daily morning walks, playtime in the yard, and games of fetch, though she’s still polishing her leash skills. Aries’s love for home life is especially meaningful given her past. She came from a situation where she was neglected and left outside, never taken on walks or allowed indoors. Now that she’s experienced comfort, companionship, and kindness, it’s clear just how much she treasures and appreciates being loved. She would thrive in a home that offers attention, structure, and affection, ideally with a fenced yard where she can safely run and play.
