Animal Information: Henry is an estimated 6-month-old, 11lb terrier/chi mix that came into the shelter as a stray with his brother, Dash. The shelter staff said Henry is always eager to say hello when they walk by the kennel. He has been easy to handle and friendly with people and other dogs. Foster Profile: Henry is a sweet, charming, curious puppy who loves to explore. He loves a good chew bone and will happily work away at one for awhile. He is also very fond of walks as there are so many interesting things to see! He is social with other dogs and is a fun mellow playmate. Henry is doing well with potty training with regular trips outside and positive reinforcement. He sleeps through the night in his crate except on occasion a strange sound might set him off (he does quiet down again). He is smart and picks up commands quickly, and has a quiet but inquisitive nature that means he likes to investigate everything he finds. It's part of his charm, although it also means that he may need to be redirected away from things that are off limits. Henry likes to be with people without being clingy (he especially likes sleeping on his back and getting belly rubs), and is generally good on his own as well. Henry has charmed the pants off us and is a real cutie that would be a great addition to any family with or without kids or another dog.
