Eddie wants to be your best friend and constant companion! He loves to snuggle and he's a classic lap dog! He loves to ride in the car, and he will happily ride in your purse or backpack. He likes other dogs and loves to play. He is good with cats. He's a little shy with new people but he is a gentle soul who warms up quickly, especially if he can have treats! He loves chewy toys and squeaky toys. He's doing very well on his potty training. He is good at going outside, and he will also use wee-wee pads indoors. He's a great work-from-home companion. He'll hang out in his dog bed and play with his toys while you work, although he's happy to sit on your lap and join your Zoom meetings. He's learning commands like Sit and Stay, and he loves practicing positive reinforcement. He walks well on a leash. He does need human companionship and wouldn't be a good fit for a home where he would have to be alone, and he will also need some training and support for separation anxiety. A fully fenced yard would be ideal and children 7 years and older. (An adoption fee of $500 is required.) All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations before being placed in their forever homes.
