Unknown Rescue Story Dale was found abandoned in a small crate in a parking lot alongside a German Shepherd puppy. They had been left there for at least two days without food or water. Since the day he was rescued, he has been safe and loved — and now he's ready for a forever home that will never let him down again. Personality Dale is calm and content with his person — almost cat-like in his independence. He's been lovingly compared to a “pet rock that talks.” He can grumble a little when picked up (he has opinions!), but he is incredibly sweet and happiest curled up in your lap, preferably under the covers.
