Meet Maia — a young mama with a playful spirit! Maia is a 1.5‑year‑old chihuahua mix who weighs 14 pounds and has the sweetest, most resilient heart. She was far too young to be a mama, yet she cared for and nursed her three puppies beautifully. Now that her babies are growing up, it’s finally her turn to be someone’s baby. Maia is playful, silly, and full of energy — she loves toys, loves to run around the house, and eats like a champ (treats included). She sleeps through the night in her kennel and is working on both leash training and potty training. She would love a home with a fenced in yard and endless love. She adores people and gets along well with other dogs, though she can be protective when unfamiliar dogs get too close — a leftover instinct from being a young mom.
