Hula Hoop
AvailableHula Hoop is a small, senior female Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix with a red and white coat, currently spending her days in Warren, RI. She is spayed, vaccinated, and completely house trained. After a journey back to good health, her bloodwork is perfect and she is at a healthy weight. Hula does best with dogs, not cats, and would thrive in a calm, patient home with a fenced yard.
About Hula Hoop
Meet Hula Hoop, a Miniature Pinscher and Chihuahua mix who found herself in rescue after years of neglect in a hoarding situation. When she arrived, Hula Hoop weighed close to 28 lbs and lived up to her name, but through gradual weight loss and care, she's down to a much healthier size and ready for a fresh start. Now around nine years old, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, Hula Hoop is also completely house trained. These days, she answers mostly to Hula and is waiting for a patient adopter who will give her time to trust. Once she does, her affection is unmistakable—she greets you with full-body wags and genuine smiles. Hula prefers the company of women and, due to lasting wrist and forearm damage, does best in a home where she won't be expected to take long walks. A fenced yard suits her best. Hula enjoys being with other dogs but would not be happy living with cats. She is happiest as your devoted companion and is happiest when she can settle into a quiet routine with someone willing to love her as fiercely as she’ll love back. Hula is fostered in Round Rock, TX and is adoptable in Texas and Northeastern States, but she’s currently waiting in Warren, RI. As a June 15 birthday, she’s a curious and adaptable Gemini—never short on opinions, or wagging. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
