About Worm
Worm is a roughly 6-month-old spayed large-breed mutt from Yakima with an easygoing and goofy puppy personality. In foster care in Seattle, she's made real gains with crate training, potty training, and walking nicely on leash. She gets visibly thrilled seeing other dogs, sometimes to a fault, and is still figuring out how to settle down in those moments—she just hates missing out on anything fun. She’s picking up cues like "sit," "leave it," "no," "heel," and "stay," and food or affection both light her up. She’s truly fond of people and gets along with kids, although her exuberance means smaller children could get bowled over in her excitement. Car rides suit her fine, and she’s happiest with lively playmates—human or canine doesn't matter. Frisbee, fetch, and noisy toys keep her entertained for ages, and after burning off energy, she enjoys lounging in the sun or stealing someone’s lap for a snooze, stretching out in comical fashion. Watching Worm romp through the grass, chasing sticks and inventing games, you can’t help but wonder why this sweet, big-legged girl hasn’t been scooped up yet. She has all the makings of a great family dog who is equal parts playmate and nap buddy. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
