About Zorro

Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Zorro! Zorro is a 4-year-old Labrador–Australian Shepherd mix with the heart of a puppy and the soul of a best friend. This sweet, affectionate boy thrives on human companionship and truly shines when he's with people who give him love and attention. Though Zorro can be a little fearful or insecure at times, his gentle nature and eagerness to bond make him incredibly rewarding to care for. He’s smart, food-motivated, and highly trainable—ready to learn and grow with someone who believes in him. Zorro does not like small spaces, including crates, so a comfortable, open home environment is best. Zorro is full of energy and playfulness, but also enjoys relaxing and cuddling on the couch, especially with his person. He’s happiest outdoors, whether it’s running at the dog park, walking on the beach, or exploring trails. Known for his zoomies, Zorro loves to run in circles like he’s on a racetrack and delights in both tearing apart toys and cherishing his soft ones. He has a special fondness for blankets, stuffies, and chewing on wood and sticks! He’s looking for a devoted family who can give him plenty of love, patience, and companionship. In return, Zorro promises to be a loyal, loving, and endlessly sweet member of your family. He needs to be the only dog in the home, though he enjoys the company of other dogs at the park. Zorro will thrive in homes with children over 12. He is vaccinated, neutered, and chipped. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
