Tesla is a thoughtful and sensitive girl who takes her time getting comfortable in new situations. At first, she is skittish and prefers to quietly check people out on her own terms-so the best way to win her over is to simply give her space and let her come to you. Once Tesla feels safe and secure, her sweet personality really shines. She becomes a cuddly, snuggly companion who absolutely loves ear rubs (seriously-they're her favorite!). When she relaxes, her goofy side comes out and she'll happily stay close by your side. She is very respectful around other dogs and does well with them. Once she feels comfortable, she even enjoys playing and showing off her fun, silly side. Tesla also enjoys spending time outside, whether it's exploring the yard, taking in new smells, or just relaxing in the fresh air. One of her favorite activities is watching the world go by from the window, quietly keeping an eye on everything happening outside. She is crate trained and house trained, and she's a quiet dog who likes to be near her people. She's also very easygoing when it comes to nail trims, which is always a bonus! Because she can be cautious in new situations, Tesla will do best with a patient adopter who lets her build confidence at her own pace.
