We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. __ Jason Statham is a 8 months (born 5/23/25), neutered male, Pitbull mix — currently 43 lbs and expected to grow into a larger adult. He’s being fostered in the same Houston home where he was born and can transport to the Petfinder-listed city once an adopter has completed our screening process, virtual home visit, and reference checks. This guy is the action hero of playtime and the sweetheart of snuggles! This handsome boy is part of a litter of happy, social pups who love people and each other. Jason is a calm, stoic little guy who’s just as happy to pose for his foster mom in the yard as he is to romp around with his toys. He loves being chased by his siblings, carrying around his favorite toys, and soaking up attention from his people. Jason can be a bit nervous at first, so he’ll do best with a family willing to be patient, gentle, and calm as he gets comfortable. He hasn’t been around children yet, but we expect he’ll do well with kids who understand boundaries and how to interact respectfully with dogs. He’s already showing what a smart and eager-to-please boy he is! Jason knows sit, stay, and lay down. He’s crate trained, nearly potty trained, but not yet leash trained, so his new family should be ready to continue that guidance. Like all young pups, he’ll thrive with consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement as he grows. We have no history with cats. Because of his age, we’re looking for a home where his people are home more often than not — he’s still learning about the world and really benefits from companionship. Another friendly dog in the home would be wonderful (though not required), and we’ll ask how you plan to socialize him with new people, places, and dogs to help him develop into a confident, well-adjusted adult.
