If we think you might be a good fit, we will reach out to coordinate a phone interview. This is followed by a video call with the foster home. Virtual home visit, personal and vet reference checks are required to complete the process. Transport is included in our adoption donation. Latte, 11 months old, spayed female, Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix, 48 pounds. She is located in a foster home in Houston, Texas and is able to transport out of state. Latte is a very energetic 11-month-old puppy who is thriving in her foster home thanks to consistent structure, guidance, and positive reinforcement. She is eager to please, highly treat-motivated, and loves learning new things. Latte already knows sit and down, and she’s continuing to work on her leash manners—she currently pulls, but with ongoing training she’s making progress. She does not have any reaction to passing people or other dogs on walks. Latte is a high-energy girl who would do best in an active home that can provide regular physical outlets and continued training. She would absolutely love having another active dog who enjoys play, as she can be very excited and bouncy around new dogs. If she is the only dog in the home, she will need daily exercise and enrichment to help her thrive. Latte is great with people and kids, with no concerns noted. She is fully house trained and does well in her crate, where she is crated for about four hours at a time before being let out into the backyard or home. She has no issues going in or out of the crate and does not appear to have separation anxiety. Above all, Latte is a loving, affectionate puppy who truly wants to do the right thing. With her eagerness to learn and loving nature, she will make a wonderful companion for an active family ready to continue helping her grow into the amazing dog she’s becoming. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
