DAISY 6 Year OLD YELLOW FEMALE 85 Pounds SPAYED (Needs to lose a few pounds!) Background: Daisy is a wonderful girl but the owners would like to rehome her as she is not getting the attention that she needs. With their busy lives, kids and work schedules Daisy is only getting about 1 h our each day. The owners reached out to GGLRR to help Daisy find a new home. What Daisy’s owners have to say about her: We have had Daisy since she was a puppy and she has been a well loved dog but our situation has changed and it is not fair to Daisy. My niece had Daisy living with her but she recently moved out of state and Daisy came back to live with us. I work 15 plus hours a day and we have busy kids schedules and there is just not enough time for Daisy. Daisy is a very easy going incredible dog that thinks everyone is her friend. Daisy is great with our kids, she is excellent walking on leash and she will walk herself. She is ok with cats and other dogs. She has no food or toy aggression. She is housebroken but she is currently in the backyard and the garage. What Daisy’s rescue rep has to say: Daisy is such a sweet, lovable girl. When we met her, she was excited to say hello but stayed calm and polite, never jumping up. She is a bit overweight right now, but with regular exercise and a healthy routine, she should do great shedding those extra pounds. She was very gentle when taking treats and was comfortable being handled from head to toe. Daisy absolutely loves attention, especially pets and affection. She also walked nicely on leash, enjoying time to stop and sniff while still listening when it was time to move along. Daisy does well greeting other dogs and has previously lived with another dog. She is currently spending most of her time in the garage and backyard, but she deserves a home where she can be inside with her people and truly be part of the family. She would make a wonderful family dog for someone ready to give her the love and companionship she deserves. Medical: Daisy is current on her shots, needs to lose some weight, she does have a lipoma in her underbelly and needs some attention to her ears. She does need to me microchipped.
