Finley arrived with her mother, Chloe, from another shelter that was concerned Chloe was shutting down after her 5 kittens were removed from her. 4 were adopted together and the 5th, Finley, was elsewhere, but not at her side. They felt that Chloe would end up being a barn cat due to her nervous and fearful state. We asked that they would put the kitten (Finley) and mom (Chloe) back together and we would like them transferred to us. We stayed over night in Scaredy Cat School to observe the reunion, and by the next day, Finley was nursing from Chloe and we were elated. Despite her mother (Chloe) being withdrawn and fearful upon arrival, Finley had no fear of humans and thrilled all of us to have a darling kitten of just several months in our care. Finley is so sweet, and silly and is the ambassador of Scaredy Cat School,setting an example for her classmates,Chloe (mom) and Bolt (classmate) . Finley warms up to people easily. She loves to examine what's in your purse or jacket.She loves to play and dives happily into her fuzzy play tunnel. She is so joyful and silly and thinks nothing of climbing the screens in her school room just for the fun of it. She loves her catnip banana and wand toys and treats! She is crazy for her squeeze up treats and will run to sneak a treat from Chloe or Bolt. They don't mind because she is so silly and sweet and FAST- she's easily forgiven. This darling kitten has been the calm and brave and precious light that has led Bolt and Chloe by being an example of confidence. The three of them have become a family and all three must be adopted together to a family that loves cats and will cherish them each and celebrate their journey onward.
