About Quinne

Quinne is a blue-eyed tabby full of resilience and warmth, having overcome a life-threatening medical crisis thanks to quick intervention from Safe Haven. After an unexpected emergency left her previous caregiver unable to help, Quinne spent several days in the ICU but pulled through with determination and lots of support. Now, she’s a thriving, affectionate, and lively presence looking for her true forever home in Wells, ME. Quinne has all the makings of a classic "velcro cat"—never far from her people, always eager to curl up in a lap and bask in attention. She seeks out affection and rewards her humans with plenty of purrs and devoted company. Playfulness is another of her charms; Quinne delights in tossing wand toys and balls, keeping herself and her humans entertained. She enjoys treats but will benefit from moderation while she loses a bit of excess weight. While confident and adaptable, Quinne does value her own spot to relax, though she still prefers being around her people most of the time. She would do best as the only pet in a calm, low-stress environment—ideally an adult home or with respectful older kids. A retiree or someone who is home often would be the perfect match for her. Due to a history of a blocked colon, Quinne will require daily Cisapride to keep her digestive system running smoothly, but she’s cooperative with her meds and Safe Haven fully covers her medication costs as part of her adoption. If you like the idea of a loyal, loving sidekick who’s beaten the odds, Quinne’s ready to leave the past behind and become someone’s cherished friend. Meet and greets are arranged at her foster home in Wells. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
