Meet Gouda Gouda is a 3-year-old, 60-pound boy with a short, stocky build and a big personality waiting to shine. He can be a little shy when meeting new people and may need some time to feel safe and comfortable. Once he knows he can trust you, Gouda reveals his true self — a goofy, affectionate dog who loves attention and belly rubs. Gouda was found after being dumped on the streets and was very fearful of people in the beginning. Since coming into rescue, he has made wonderful progress and continues to grow more confident every day. With patience and a calm environment, he truly blossoms and becomes a very loving companion. He enjoys going for walks, does well riding in the car, and is both house trained and crate trained. Gouda also does well with other dogs and cats. Because of his past and his initial shyness with new people, Gouda would do best in a home without children where he can continue building confidence at his own pace.
