Meet Millie! 🐾 Millie is a 4-year-old Cockapoo weighing about 34 pounds (though she could benefit from losing about 5 pounds with regular exercise and play). This sweet girl is full of love and ready to find a family who can give her the attention she deserves. Millie walks beautifully on a leash and absolutely loves car rides, making her a wonderful companion for errands or adventures. She is incredibly affectionate and people-oriented—Millie truly just wants to be close to her humans and soak up all the love she can get. She does well with other dogs and cats and would likely enjoy having furry friends in the home. When she first meets new people she can get a little excited and may jump up to say hello, so she would probably do best with slightly older children who understand her enthusiasm. Millie is crate trained and has been trained to use pee pads. Her foster mom is currently helping her transition to going potty outside, and since Millie is very smart and highly treat-motivated, she’s already learning and just needs consistency and patience as she adjusts. Sadly, Millie is being surrendered because her previous owners were unable to provide the exercise and attention she needs. She is a wonderful dog who simply deserves a more active home where she can get outside, go for walks, and be part of the family. Millie has been fully vetted, spayed, and is up to date on vaccines. She will also come with a health certificate.
