*Cassie will be ready for adoption on Saturday, March 21.* Meet Cassie! This sweet little pug is a bundle of happiness in a tiny, squishy package. Cassie is social, affectionate, and completely people-oriented. Wherever the humans are, that’s exactly where she wants to be. Sit down and you’ll likely gain a lap companion. Walk past and you may get a few enthusiastic kisses. Make eye contact… and you’ve probably made a best friend for life. Like most pug puppies, Cassie is playful and curious but also wonderfully snuggly once the adventures wind down. She loves being part of everyday life — whether that’s hanging out on the couch, following you from room to room, or joining you for a car ride. With such a friendly and easygoing temperament, Cassie could thrive in many different kinds of homes, including families, singles, or homes with other pets. If you’re looking for a tiny companion who believes love is best expressed through cuddles and kisses, Cassie might be the perfect fit. *A quick note about the breed: Pugs are a brachycephalic (short-nosed) breed, which means they can require some breed-specific care as they age. This may include routine dental care, monitoring for breathing sensitivity in heat or strenuous exercise, and regular vet checkups to keep them feeling their best.* Cassie is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $1800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay. Cassie is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
