Say hello to Panda! This sweetie was rescued in January of this year with her sister Penguin the day before a huge Pittsburgh snow storm. Panda is a silly and playful little kitten. It's not hard to satisfy her need to play! She loves all kinds of feathers, wand toys, jingle balls, and loves to chase and pounce on her toys. She's so very active and energetic! It took Panda some time to learn that people weren't so bad. While she is still a tad bit on the shy side with first introductions, it doesn't take much to change her mind (especially with some treats or a toy to help her relax). With her foster mom, Panda is social and flirty. She is purry, gives out head bumps, does cute little stretches, and will let out a little chirp or two when she's happy. She loves being petted and doesn't mind being held. Panda loves wrestling with her sister, Penguin. She would need to have a playful feline companion to help her burn off her playful energy. She is shy around dogs but could possibly be okay with one given a slow introduction. We think Panda may be able to go to many different homes, including children, with the understanding that she may be initially shy and need some assistance to build her confidence. The foster family's toddler has been able to hold Panda in her lap (with help and supervision). Panda is 4 months old and has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
