About Sweet Pea

True to his namesake, sweet Pea is a big, gentle cat who just wants a calm home and patient people. Though his size might surprise you, his personality is all softness—he's a gentle giant adjusting to life indoors. Born in a garage with his siblings Wimpy and Babette, sweet Pea was doted on by several caretakers outdoors, but his sensitive, loving nature makes him happiest inside where he feels safe. He'll be shy at first, but gentle encouragement wins him over quickly. Sweet Pea loves taking refuge in his box and purrs loudly when his favorite humans offer him back and butt scratches. He especially lights up when cheered on and talked to; the more confident he feels, the more you’ll see his sweet, sometimes silly “cat-walk”—a proud parade for attention and pets back and forth. Toys are a big hit with sweet Pea. Wand toys, catnip, scratchers, balls—he finds joy in just about any toy. For his next home, a quieter space with a friendly cat buddy would help him settle in and build confidence. He should start in a spot that keeps him visible since he’s still learning he doesn’t have to hide all the time. Sweet Pea is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and—born November 14—he’s a Scorpio, often known for their loyalty. If you’re ready to offer a loving home (maybe even for his buddy Wimpy too), take a closer look at this sweet, soft-hearted boy. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
