When he's not chasing toys his favorite place in the world is right next to his person - whether that's curled up in your bed, sitting on your lap, standing right by your side. Leo is also known for his adorable smile that will melt your heart. He's incredibly affectionate and bonds deeply with his people. A few things to know about Leo so he can be his happiest: * Leo needs to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the love and attention. He tends to get a bit rough with dogs from time to time. It's probably just him being playful, but being the only dog would be ideal. * He can be a little nervous around men at first, but with patience and about a week of consistent kindness, he warms up and becomes very comfortable. I would highly suggest having a female in the home. * Leo would do best in a home without shared walls (not an apartment or townhome) because he tends to bark when his people leave. * A fenced yard would be ideal! Leo loves being outside, playing in the yard, and going on walks. Leo did mark at first; he's been broken of that habit, but wanted you to be aware it might take a few days to get him back to his best trained self.
