Salsa is described as "perfect" in her current Texas foster home. She's proven to be an easygoing and adaptable companion who seems comfortable in just about every situation she's encountered so far. Salsa is potty trained, fairly quiet, and already has some basic training under her belt. She's affectionate with her people and loves to play with toys, making her a wonderful mix of fun and sweet. Salsa is happy just being part of the family. Before coming into rescue, Salsa was attacked by a larger dog and sustained injuries. Because of that experience, slow and thoughtful introductions to bigger dogs will help her feel safe and build confidence. With patient introductions, she can continue to thrive and feel secure in her new home. Salsa's sweet personality, good manners, and loving nature make her a truly special dog. She's ready to bring joy, affection, and a little extra sparkle to the lucky home that welcomes her. Salsa is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 3/21/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
