Coal is a young male kitten, approximately 6 to 7 months old, with a sleek black coat and bright, curious eyes. He is missing his front left leg, but it certainly does not slow him down. He gets around beautifully and keeps up with the other cats without any trouble. When he first came into rescue he was a bit reserved, but during his time with us he has truly started to blossom. With a little time and reassurance, his confidence continues to grow and his sweet personality is shining through more each day. He has spent the past several weeks hanging out in the lobby at Vista Pet Hospital alongside his companions Nico and Jewel. Watching the other cats interact with visitors has helped him come out of his shell, and he is now much more comfortable exploring, observing everything going on around him and accepting gentle attention. This special boy would do wonderfully in a home that will give him a little patience and encouragement while he continues building confidence. Underneath his slightly shy start is a playful, affectionate young cat who is ready to form a strong bond with his future family.
