She was adopted from me her foster and because “her family’s work schedule changed” they dumped her back at the shelter to be killed and it was by luck that we saw her post and grabbed her back from death at the shelter. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is on monthly heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. She is house trained and crate trained and is not destructive inside or outside of my home. She hardly ever barks unless other dogs are barking and then she will join in with the others. She has no issues with car rides and actually likes going in the car. She sleeps on a doggie bed at night. She is dog friendly but prefers dogs her size or smaller. Cats are a no. She would do better with adults and older children not young children. Her activity level is medium. She is an 10 yo but still has spunk to her but not a running partner or hiking partner; walks would be sufficient for her exercise. She does enjoy her fenced back yard and is treat motivated. She knows sit and come and walk on a leash. She is not off leash trained without a fenced back yard. She loves to be with her human but can be a little shy upon first meeting. She enjoys quiet relaxing time to chill out and be loved on with her humans. She is dog friendly but would prefer all your love and attention as an only dog. She needs a forever home to live out her golden years. On behalf of Karen Perl, the adoption fee is $350. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized.
