Mowgli – Male Shepherd/Akita Mix | Approx. DOB: 02/27/2024 | ~65 lbs Mowgli’s story began when he was found wandering along the side of the road. After being taken to the Mansfield Animal Shelter, unfortunately his owners did not come forward to reclaim him. He was then taken into foster care to provide him with more time and the opportunity he deserves to find a forever home. Since being in a home environment, Mowgli has shown himself to well mannered and easily trainable. He is dog selective so he will need to either be an only pet or a introduction is recommended to make sure it's a good match. He enjoys jogging in place, playing fetch, and walks nicely on a leash. He is housebroken and crate trained. He may whine briefly when first placed in the crate, but he settles quickly and does fine. Mowgli is a sweet, active dog who would likely thrive with continued structure, guidance to be a wonderful companion for you.
