About Cash

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Cash’s journey to safety was not an easy one. After surviving a gunshot and enduring a fractured leg that resulted in amputation, Cash arrived at the rescue needing time, patience, and care. Initially, he is wary of new men but quickly realizes when he is safe and responds well once trust is established. He can seem intimidating at first, but this is simply his way of coping with past trauma, and he has never shown true aggression. With women, Cash is affectionate, outgoing, and especially loves to cuddle with his foster mom. He’s making daily progress overcoming his fears thanks to dedicated support and TLC. Cash enjoys living with a big group of dogs—he gets along with everyone, large and small. In play, he’s adaptable, switching between gentle and energetic, depending on his playmates. He walks well on a leash, loves car rides, and brings a spirit of joy to everyday routines. Crate-trained and with generally good house manners, Cash asks to go out between potty breaks. His only mischievous side comes out when he sneaks food from the counters if he thinks no one is watching! He is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Born on May 28, Cash is a clever Gemini—Geminis are known for their versatility and quick learning abilities. If you’re ready to welcome a courageous, loving companion, Cash is waiting for the devoted home he truly deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
