This 1.5-year-old Chihuahua/Beagle mix might sound like an odd combo, but trust us — it totally works! Just look at that adorable face and those floppy ears. At only 13 pounds, Hazel is a tiny gal with a huge personality. Hazel is full of energy and always ready for fun. She loves to play with toys, people, and other dogs — her favorite game is chase, and she could happily zoom around with her dog friends for hours! She’s also a fan of tug-of-war with her stuffed toys, and she doesn’t let size differences stop her — she’ll play with dogs big or small. When playtime’s over, Hazel transforms into a total snugglebug. She loves curling up in your lap (or even on your chest!) to give kisses and soak up all the affection she can get. She’s never met a stranger and is eager to make friends with everyone she meets. Hazel is mostly potty-trained (just the occasional accident), crate-trained, and has started learning her basic commands. She’s very food-motivated, which makes training both easy and fun. She gets along great with other dogs, adores kids, and even does fine with cats — though she might try to convince them to play!
