About Dulce Anatolian
Dulce is a Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd mix who narrowly escaped euthanasia at a local shelter. Found as a stray, she’s now thriving and full of joy. Born in July 2023, Dulce has a long, fluffy coat in soft tan, black, and cream, plus the classic Anatolian curled tail. She’s friendly, gets along well with other dogs, and loves playtime, brushing, and attention. Her recent heartworm treatment went well and she remains upbeat, always wearing a happy dog grin. Dulce is calm during car rides and keeps her kennel spotless. She will need a securely fenced yard—no invisible fencing—and must be kept leashed in unfenced areas, as her breed instincts make her a champion wanderer. She’ll be placed as an inside dog with yard access. The rescue requires adopters to be over 25, own their home, have children over six, and maintain excellent pet care history, including year-round heartworm prevention and vaccinations for resident pets. Dulce is best for homes able to provide continued training and close supervision outdoors. She’s available for foster or adoption—either way, you’ll have a chance to see her shine during a two-week trial. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
