Meet the beautiful Bella! 💖 This strong girl has overcome some incredible challenges in her young life. Rescued when she was just about 9 months old, Bella was found tied up on a meager 2-foot chain without food or water and a painful wound on the side of her head from an untreated ear infection. Luckily, she caught the compassionate eye of a kind landlord who stepped in to help. After spending a year with her rescuers, Bella received all the love and care she deserved—she got spayed, vaccinated, and treated with the kindness she craved. But fate had other plans when she escaped while being rehomed and ended up at a shelter. Her loyal heart knows no bounds; her microchip helped trace her back to her original rescuers. But sadly, her new owners never came to reunite with her. Now Bella is looking for her forever home! She is an intelligent cutie who learns quickly and is housebroken and crate-trained. Weighing in at about 70 lbs, she has the appearance of a small Great Pyrenees with her double dew claws, adorable badger ears, and stunning blue eyes that can melt anyone's heart! 💙 Bella adores human attention and loves to roll over for belly rubs and snuggles! 🐾 She gets along great with other dogs, especially a playful male companion, and she craves an active home that can keep up with her playful spirit. Bella does have a curious side when it comes to cats, so that might be a little tricky. One important thing to note: great care must be given for Great Pyrenees, as they can’t roam freely. Bella will thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard—remember, invisible fencing just won’t do! She’s bred for independence and has a strong desire to explore (they're true “DisAPyrs” when left off-leash!). Not only will she be an inside pet with outside privileges, but she will also require some obedience training to cement that special bond with her new family. Plus, applicants must be over 25, own their home, and have children aged 6 and up in the household. 🏡 And don’t forget: all resident pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and have proof of good veterinary care over the past two years.
