About Daisy Mae
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Daisy Mae, a one-year-old Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix who has overcome an incredible journey in her short life. When Daisy was found beside a rural road after likely being hit by a car, she was in need of urgent help. She arrived at the rescue with multiple fractures in her front left leg and two significant lacerations, but remained calm, gentle, and loving throughout her ordeal—her tail kept wagging with hope every time someone offered kindness. After a necessary surgery and an extended period of recovery, Daisy Mae has been officially cleared and is now happily thriving in her foster home. Daisy has proven herself to be an affectionate, calm, and gentle companion who loves being with people and greeting everyone with a wagging tail. Though she is still young and curious, she’s also a bit of an athlete and has demonstrated she can jump a four-foot fence, so a secure yard with a six-foot fence or supervised outdoor time will be important for her safety. Daisy is also known to be quite vocal, so she would do best in a single-family home rather than an apartment or a home with sensitive neighbors. She is house trained, gets along with other dogs and is also cat-friendly. In addition to her gentle nature, Daisy Mae is a true Libra, which means she brings a perfect balance of love, beauty, and harmony to every home she enters! She is ready to leave her past behind and begin a joyful new chapter with a devoted forever family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
