Gus' estimated birth year: 2018 Meet little Timmy! He is a very handsome Shih tzu who was found as a stray in Detroit when when we had frigid temperatures. He was very matted and had only 2 teeth. Those 2 teeth are decayed so badly they will be removed. He was groomed and look at him now!!! Timmy weighs 7#. Good with dogs. Unknown with cats. Children 12 years old or older. Timmy's forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and hang out with his people. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on monthly heartworm preventative as well as house and crate-trained. Sweet Timmy would love to find a home that will allow him to live his best life and be a treasured part of a family! All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same-day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6-week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs. No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Timmy's adoption fee is $350.
