Hi! My name is Conny. I am a 13 year old Shih Tzu weighing in at about 16lbs. I am the sweetest, most loving little man! I’m looking for a new lap to curl up in. I came to the rescue when my hooman mommy had to go into a nursing home. I will curl up and cuddle with any human I meet. Oh and butt scratches are a must hehe I love to be petted! I am used to sleeping on furniture and in bed with my hoomans so please know I need that in my new home too. I do have some medical issues but all are managed right now! I have a bladder stone and I must eat my prescription dog food so it will not get any larger. I do have a heart murmur. I am partially deaf. I have some deformities to my rear legs (injury when I was younger) but none of these medical issues slow me down! I do have some allergies too and do take allergy meds for them. I am potty trained and can use a crate if needed but I really don’t need a crate. I hate being away from my hoomans so I am looking for a home where someone is retired or works from home so we can hang all the time. I am a great traveler too so I would love to go for car rides. I like other dogs, cats, and kids too! Because I’m an older dog, kids need to be 14+. Conny is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative. And his teeth are in great shape too!
